About Kaohsiung City Shoushan Zoo
Shoushan Zoo (also known as Kaohsiung City Shoushan Zoo) is the second largest zoo in Taiwan, and yet it is reasonably priced at NT$40 per adult. Visitors can see popular animals such as Formosan black bears, African elephants, Bengal tigers, Siberian tigers, miniature horses, African lions, and orangutans.
How to get there
MRT/Bus: Take bus 52 from Formosa Boulevard MRT station to Shoushan Zoo. The trip takes about 30 minutes.
By Car/Scooter: Drive to Xizihwan and take Xinglong Road up the mountain to the zoo. The parking lot is about 500 meters from the zoo entrance. Parking fee is NT$30 per day.
