About Taipei Zoo
Taipei Zoo is one of the largest municipal zoos in Asia. As soon as you enter the grounds, the very popular koala pavilion is on your left. Even if you don’t find a cute koala, you are sure to find one basking in the sun. A recorded guide on the Visitor Tram will take you to Bird World, the Amphibian and Reptile Pavilion, the Penguin Pavilion, and other areas such as the Tropical, African, Australian, and Desert Animal areas. Visitors can get up close and personal with insects in the Insectarium.
There are also free guided tours available by advance reservation. Animal lovers can also adopt and babysit an animal!
