About Wulai Unzen Paradise
Yunxian Paradise is located in Wulai District, New Taipei City, between the old Xindian Creek and the new Xiaogui Bridge, the last scenic spot upstream from Xindian Creek. Built in 56th year of the Republic of China, Yunxian Paradise is surrounded by lush green trees, long flowing water, and mountains, and the source at the top of the famous Wulai Falls has even more lake scenery, with forests, trees, and flowing water, and the valley scenery, animals, plants, and streams fully express the beauty of nature. The different beauty of spring, summer, fall, and winter is like a fairyland, and you will never get tired of coming here again and again.
The entire Yunxian Paradise is a planned leisure and vacation resort, including the Yunxian Villas, Amphibian Frog Habitat, Butterfly Ecology Education Park, Firefly Habitat Protection Area, Forest Exploration Area, Humanities Plaza, Aquatic Plant Ecology Education Pool, Stream Ecology Area, Boat Ramp, and more. The most famous attraction in Unzen Paradise is the ropeway, which is 382 meters long with a height difference of 165 meters and a maximum angle of inclination of 32.5 degrees. The cable car is automatically controlled by computer and runs at a speed of 3.6 meters per second, taking approximately 2 minutes and 40 seconds, and each cable car can carry 91 passengers.
How to get there
By car
1、National Highway No. 1: From Yuanshan Interchange, take Jianguo North-South Expressway to Xinhai Road, then Keelung Road overpass and Huanhe Expressway to Bitan, Beiyi Road and Xinwu Road to Yunxian Paradise Gondola Station.
2、National Highway No. 3: From Xindian Interchange, take Zhongxing Road, Beiyi Road, and Xinwu Road to the Yunxian Paradise Gondola Station.
Public Transportation
1. Bus: Take Xindian Bus Wulai Line, transfer to Taiwan Bus at Wulai Station, or walk to Yunxian Paradise Gondola Station.
2. MRT: Take MRT Xindian Station (Green Line), transfer to Xindian Bus (Wulai-Taipei Line) at the station, get off at Wulai Station, and take the bus or walk to the Yunxian Paradise Gondola Station.
Bus: Take bus No. 849 from Zhongshan South Road (across from the Bureau of Education), transfer to Xindian Bus (Wulai – Wulai line), get off at Wulai, and take the bus or walk to the Yunxian Paradise Gondola Station.

Tips
Unzen Paradise 09:30-17:00 (open until 16:30 on weekdays, until 17:00 on weekends, summer vacation and consecutive holidays)
Aerial Cable Car 09:00-19:00 (operates every 10-15 minutes, last service during firefly season until 22:30)
Park Shop 09:30-16:30 (extended to 17:00 on holidays)
Firefly season is from late April to late June each year (exact dates to be announced on the official website).
