What is Macau Science Museum?
The Macau Science Pavilion was designed by world-renowned architect I.M. Pei and Pei Partnership Architects. With a total floor area of 20,000 square meters, the Macau Science Pavilion consists of an exhibition center, planetarium, and convention center.
Exhibition Center
The Exhibition Center strives to provide knowledge-oriented, scientific, interesting, and interactive exhibits that allow visitors to explore science in a hands-on way.
Planetarium
The world’s first planetarium equipped with an 8,000 x 8,000 pixel ultra-high definition 3D projection system, it can show interactive live shows and dome movies in 3D. Its powerful real-time astronomical database takes the audience on a free journey through time and space.

TIPS
The main building has a distinctive asymmetrical conical shape with spiral corridors and a large atrium. The galleries leading from the corridor consist primarily of interactive exhibits intended for science education.
There is also a planetarium with 3D projection equipment and Omnimax movies.
